The onset of action of our company dates back to 1971 with the establishment of the 'Offices for mediation Jugoinspekt Zagreb' as part of the Jugoinspekt system, which worked on the territory of the entire former Yugoslavia.

Two years later the "Office for the machines’ was founded, and started the technical control of industrial equipment.

With the development of business and expansion of the scope of work, in 1978 the branch was transformed into the independent sector called 'technical control'. January 1, 1987, Jugoinspekt set aside from the system and registered as an independent organization: Jugocontrol-Zagreb.

Under the name Croatiainspect started operating from the very beginning of the establishment of Croatia, December 10, 1990.
