Croatiainspect Ltd. is an independent inspection body type A, accredited for qualitative and quantitative inspection in the field of petroleum, petroleum products, LPG and biofuels since the end of last year, we are also accredited by HAA for monitoring of the quantity of biodiesel placed on the market for which, except of accreditation, we also have obtained approval for the work from the Ministry of economy.
The system for monitoring the quantity of biofuels placed on the market or use (monitoring of biofuel quantity) regulated by the Act on Biofuels for Transport (Official Gazette no. 65/2009, 145/2010, 26/2011 and 144/2012). The monitoring of quantity of biofuels involves a method of determining the quantities of biofuels placed on the market or for the use of which involves the immediate verification of technological procedures of adding biofuel fuel oil, checking the certificate of conformity on which fuel producers guarantee for the amount of biofuels in individual fuel shipments by the procedure set forth in the program of monitoring of biofuel. The quality of biofuels placed on the Croatian market is regulated by the Regulation on the quality of biofuels (Official Gazette no. 141/2005 and 33/2011).
Article 28. The Law on Biofuels for Transportation regulates the conditions of implementation of monitoring of biofuel, and the same article establishes that the program of monitoring of biofuel must only be performed by authorized persons for monitoring the quantity of biofuels. As the first in Croatia who were doing verification and control of the quantity, we gained a certain level of knowledge and experience in the subject of control, as we have shown with the accreditation inspection of monitoring the amount of biofuels.
